From here onwards, our trekkers are traversing through the dry river beds as this is a crucial point in the trek. It takes almost 2 hours to traverse the rocky trails. The trekkers will have to cross the river Neel Ganga and trek for another 3 hours to reach the final destination for the day.

In Bedni Bugyal, the term "dry rivers" refers to streams or tiny rivers that run through forests during the monsoon season but stop flowing the rest of the year. These rivers are also referred to as ephemeral or seasonal streams. The wooded region near Bedni Bugyal has high rainfall throughout the monsoon season, which causes the streams to bulge and run vigorously. These streams, however, grow dry and the riverbeds are vacant the remainder of the year because of the dry weather. Little pools of water still exist in a few spots in the usually stony and sandy Bedni Bugyal dry rivers.
